I began making ceramics in 2016 while living in Brooklyn, NY. It was only after relocating to upstate NY in 2020 when I missed the community of a shared ceramic studio, (there were none within an hour radius of Bovina), that I decided to create a space for making clay. Clay Ground Studio opened in 2023 on Main St in our local village of Andes, NY. Once I had a space I really turned my focus to ceramics as more than just a personal past time and passion. I now teach at the studio, and produce my own work, which spans lighting and functional objects.
